Saints Water Polo Invitational 2016

Once again, we will host the Saints Water Polo Invitational over half-term. This year will be the 23rd edition of this exciting event.

This year's event brings together teams from Zimbabwe, Gauteng, KwaZulu-Natal, the Western Cape, and the Eastern Cape. It is the largest schools water polo event of its kind in the world.

We look forward to welcoming 58 schools and approximately 750 participants at our world-class Aquatics Centre. The event will take over the whole Aquatics Centre with each pool playing host to exciting and competitive water polo each Invitational day.

St Stithians Boys’ College will play their first match on Thursday 20 October 2016 against Crawford Lonehill at 13:00 and St Stithians Girls’ College play their first match against Dainfern College at 14:20 on the same day.

Besides the water polo games, visitors can stay entertained, hydrated, and well-fed thanks to a number of great vendors. Namely,  Spur, Chip 'n Dip, Dunkin' Donuts, Wendy's Lemonade, Papa Barista, Paquito's Treatery, Amici Pizzeria, Frosty Melts, Willy Waffles, and the Boys' College Interact Club.

Also, there will be a hospitality marquee where the Currie Cup final will be played on three plasma screens on Saturday afternoon.

If you find that watching all the great water polo gets a bit too stressful for you, take a few minutes to kick back at the Bhan Thai stand and enjoy a complimentary neck and back massage.
