Saints Old Boy - Outstanding Achievement!

July 28, 2014 | Campus

Few feelings are more gratifying than seeing the many past pupils from our colleges who succeed in life, more often than not in leadership roles.

One such person is a highly visible Ward Councillor - David Potter - whose incredible energy and dedication to the community he serves has been acknowledged by the Mail & Guardian. On Saturday, David featured as one of the 200 young, high achievers listed for 2014 in their publication. South Africans under 35 are selected for the impact they have on the lives of their fellow South Africans, and David certainly is tops on our list!

For those of us who live and work in Randburg, David Potter has been a constant thorn in the side of the Municipality. His passion for the well-being of his constituents has earned him the respect of those in charge of service delivery, and he has managed to achieve more than any other Councillor in the past.

His contribution to society doesn’t stop there. He is Operations Director for Acres of Love and manages 27 homes for orphaned children in Gauteng and the Western Cape.

David Potter is truly the personification of everything that St Stithians stands for, and we are inordinately proud of this young achiever!
