Junior Prep Supports Global Goals

Our inspirational start to the term embracing the themes of South Africa and the Rugby World Cup, followed by our Heritage Day celebrations has now been topped by the Junior Prep making a commitment to invest in their future by supporting the United Nations Global Goals initiative.

In collaboration with world leaders the Junior Prep and the College has embraced the 17 Global Goals to: end poverty, fight inequality and injustice and fix climate change. The children made posters and pledges that were posted in classrooms, in the playground and in the Chapel, they were even hung in our trees. We concluded the week with a special Chapel Service on the topic. Our Music teacher wrote two songs, ‘What are we gonna do?’ and ‘What is your Superhero’ in celebration of the insightful week of reflection.
