Senior Inter-High Tennis Tournament 2018
On Saturday, 10 March 2018, the Boys' College hosted the annual Inter High Tennis Tournament.
During the first round of the Round Robin phase, our 1st team, consisting of Justin Liebenberg, Kyle Johnson, Tinashe Taruberekera, Sandil Bhikha, Moeteledi Monnakgotla and Michael Trant, defeated Northcliff, De La Salle, Rand Park and Hyde Park comfortably in order to reach the semi-finals.
In the semi-finals we faced a determined St John’s College, but with great determination we beat them by 11 games to 7. We then faced a very strong team from Randburg Hoërskool, and ended up defeating them by 11 games to 8.
Our 1st team performed with outstanding resilience and sportsmanship, and we are very proud of retaining the trophy for the 5th year in succession.
