Alex completed his Masters at the University of Oxford on the sustainability of leopard hunting in Africa. He has researched leopards in Zululand and the Cape and filmed them in Zambia, India and Sri Lanka. He has also worked at the National Geographic Magazine and Television, as an assistant to Steve Winter on a worldwide story about leopards.

He is currently a doctoral researcher at the University of Queensland in Australia.

Humanity has an obligation to protect that which cannot protect itself and it is clear, that Alex, has made a formidable impact on conservation both in South Africa and abroad. His insatiable passion for the conservation of the leopard is certainly going to make a difference in the future.
