Grade 5 Book Launch – Whose Story Is It?

There was a buzz of excitement in the air as families gathered outside the classrooms for the Grade 5 Book Launch. Our students arrived in stunning traditional and cultural outfits, while others proudly wore the kit of their favourite hobby or sport. Inside the classrooms, each student had meticulously set up their stands—tablecloths, cherished objects, traditional food, and decorations adorned the space. The Grade 5 Marimba Band, led by Mr Mike Sibanda, provided delightful music for our guests. 

As the evening commenced, students stood confidently at their stands, cue cards in hand. Their smiles radiated pride as they shared personal stories with parents and friends. It was a celebration of creativity, courage and the power of storytelling. 

We extend our gratitude to every student, parent, and family member who contributed to this memorable event. Together, we paid homage to our uniqueness, cultures, heritage, and the collective story of our Rainbow Nation, South Africa.
