Exploring Our Campus Together

Junior Preparatory, Campus

On Friday, 6 February, our Grade R children and their families gathered for the exciting Explore Our Saints Campus Walkabout. Blessed with a beautiful summer’s evening, it was the perfect setting to discover some of our campus’s unique landmarks and statues while enjoying quality time together.

The walkabout was more than just an exploration - it was a social occasion where families could connect and share a picnic after the adventure. The children had decorated their treasure hunt booklets in class and eagerly set off to find the statues and landmarks marked on their maps. Many proudly showed their parents familiar favourites, such as the spirit teddy bear and sword statues near the Chapel.

A highlight of the journey was reaching the dam, where the bird hide offered exciting animal sightings for our intrepid explorers. Along the way, the children also completed a nature scavenger hunt card, collecting special items that added to the fun.

The final stop was our very own JP otter statue. With their sticker treasure hunt books completed, the children were delighted to receive a treat and their Saints Explorer badge - a proud moment for all.

As the sun set, families continued to enjoy their picnics well into the evening. It was wonderful to see new friendships forming and bonds strengthening, marking the beginning of a shared journey through Saints.
