Everyone has a superhero inside them waiting to be discovered.

The children learnt about Superman, Catwoman, and Spiderman to name a few. They explored their own superhuman abilities, how they can swoop in to save the day and save citizens in distress.

They explored what qualities make a good Superhero and how they can be Superheroes: be a good friend, be brave and strong, respect each other, be extraordinary, have self-control, be kind to each other, show goodness and love each other which are all important qualities a Superhero should possess.

The children made masks in class which they wore on their Superhero 'dress up' day. They showed off their outfits and paraded in front of their peers.

The biggest lesson the Grade Two children learnt comes in the words of Gerard Way: "All the best heroes are ordinary people who make themselves extraordinary."
