Celebrating our St Stithians College Leadership 2020

October 25, 2019 | Campus

Our St Stithians Girls’ and Boys’ Colleges have now both announced their leadership for 2020 and we wish all of our young leaders all of the best as they enter into their final year at the College, guiding the way.

These students have been through a rigorous application and interview process and have been voted into their roles by their peers and teachers.

At the Leadership Induction Service for the Girls’ College, Dr Sally James describes their new student leadership roles as "a journey of discovery where you stand to learn a lot about yourself and those around you”. She continued, “At the Girls’ College our leaders adopt a servant leadership approach where service and the focus on the well-being of people and our broader community are integral to our leadership philosophy."

As part of the Leadership Announcement, Director of Leadership for the Boys’ College, Mr Luke Pearson imparted a message to the Boys of what is expected in their roles, “We require our student leaders to put service before self, to represent not just themselves but every student at the Boys’ College without bias or favouritism. To model the values of a Saints Knight, in tune with the past, present and the future. To be mindful of student wellness. To be courageous in the face of adversity; an upstander!”

We wish our student leaders all the best as they commence this exciting journey.

Know Yourself, Be Yourself, Make Your Contribution.
