Boat Naming Ceremony

This morning a four and two coxless pairs (Hudson boats) were christened and named by Reverend Dan Nkomo and Mrs Belinda Pepermans, the Captain of Boats mother.

The Pairs were named Kittiwake and Albatros, while the four was named Shearwater. This morning also saw the start of a new tradition in naming our boats, in that Old Boys names, who have represented the country at the Olympics and abroad, will be added to the boat.

This is in recognition of the success so many of our old boys have had over the years.
