Annual Spray-a-thon in the Junior Prep

On Thursday 25 February the CANSA Shavathon took place. The Junior Prep participated in the Spray-a-thon.

Covid-19 couldn’t dampen the children’s excitement. Some children were getting their hair sprayed for the first time and they kept eyeing the spray cans enthusiastically as the class teacher explained what would be happening.

In previous years, the college admin staff and interns would come and spray the children’s hair, but this year the class teachers got a once in a lifetime opportunity!  They were delighted by the opportunity to spray the children’s hair, creating beautiful rainbow patterns. Many of the children returned for extra spray, twirling and examining their crazy hair in the mirror.

The words of Helen Keller couldn’t be more true than when she said “Alone we can do so little; together, we can do so much.”

The money raised in all the schools will be going to support Cancer Research. Thank you One and All for your support and generosity.
