A Day of Kindness and Care

Grade RR Junior Prep had a truly special day celebrating a term filled with kindness, generosity and compassion. Our children proudly presented the food and donation items they had been collecting all term in support of our community outreach partners, Kitty Kazz Rescue Centre, before spending a magical morning with the adorable kittens they brought to our class.

We are incredibly grateful to our wonderful parents for their generosity - from food donations to much‑needed extra items such as blankets, litter boxes and cozy kitten beds. Your support made a meaningful difference and helped teach our children the value of caring for others.

The children were gentle, calm and caring, showing true compassion and love for the little kittens still waiting for their homes forever. While a few were a little nervous at first, curiosity and joy soon took over as they connected with the kittens in such a nurturing way.

A beautiful reminder that learning begins with the heart.
