On Wednesday 19 March, our school was abuzz with excitement as the First Additional Language FAL team hosted their annual FAL Academic Evening. This year’s theme centred around the benefits of reading, drawing a crowd of engaged parents and inspiring a renewed passion for language learning across our community.

Valentine's Day took on a new dimension this year as our Girls’ Prep and Boys’ Prep students celebrated the most enduring love of all—the love of artistic expression.

At the end of January, the Grade 6 students had an exciting three-day adventure at Camp Konka, in the beautiful Magaliesburg Mountains.

The Girls’ Prep Grade 7 students spent a week at Sugar Bay Holiday Resort in Zinkwazi Beach, which offers an educational adventure that combines hands-on learning with various activities.

We congratulate each student on their artistic journey as they pursued multiple avenues for self-expression and aimed to attain their individual goals in the subject.

It was with a warm heart and open arms that the Girls' Prep welcomed back students and welcomed in new students to our school. Our Girls' Prep Family were greeted with excited staff holding signs, music playing, balloons waving, face painting, cookies and many hugs.

The Grade 7 Farewell Chapel and Formal Dinner was a memorable event, marking the close of a meaningful chapter for the Girls’ Prep Class of 2024. Held under the inspiring theme, "Unstoppable: Waves of Resilience," the evening celebrated the girls' growth, determination and the lessons they embraced during their time at the school.

A few weeks ago, a simple seed was planted: the students were presented with two words—Africa and Beads. With this as their guide, they embarked on an incredible journey of creativity and discovery.

On Friday, 11 October, our Grade 7 students truly shone during the highly anticipated Market Day, held at Girls’ Prep. This vibrant event, an integral part of their Economic Management Science EMS curriculum, offered students an exciting, hands-on opportunity to put their entrepreneurial skills into action.

The recent interhouse athletics and music competitions at Girls' Prep were a resounding success. Both events showcased the exceptional athleticism, teamwork, and musical talent of our students.
