The Grade 7 girls of St Stithians Girls’ Prep marked a significant milestone in their academic and personal journeys with the Beyond the Mirror Film Festival, held on 26 May 2026.

There was something deeply moving about gathering as a Saints community for The Girls’ Journey; an evening that was far more than a presentation to parents.

In honour of 27 April 1994, a defining milestone in South Africa’s journey to democracy, our Grade 7 students participated in a meaningful Freedom Walk through Soweto.

From 26–28 March, our dynamic team of Grade 6 and 7 students travelled to Wynberg Girls’ School in Cape Town for an inspiring All Girls' Festival.

At St Stithians Girls’ Prep, we believe that education extends far beyond the classroom walls. It is found in the moments where our community comes together to celebrate, connect, and create lasting memories.

The Grade 6 students from Girls' Preparatory recently embarked on an unforgettable four-day adventure at Camp Konka, nestled in the stunning Magaliesburg Mountains.

Our Grade 5 students eagerly left for Camp Kamoka on 10 September.

This year, in July, the St Stithians Girls’ Prep community came together to celebrate their 30th birthday! This milestone was more than just a celebration; it was a powerful affirmation of our school’s core values, beliefs and purpose.

In celebration of World Youth Skills Day on Monday 21 July, in my capacity as the Special Projects stream lead for the DTPRG Committee, I was honoured to lead a skills day in collaboration with the GP team. This day was aimed at encouraging our young girls to dream big and reminding them that they can achieve anything they set their minds and hearts to.

This Mandela Day, the spirit of service and unity resonated deeply across our campus. Girls' Prep proudly joined alongside our Boys' Prep and Junior Prep family of schools for a series of deeply meaningful community service initiatives, culminating in an inspiring service.
