Saints Sports Festival 2021

2021 Saints Sports Festival - 8 – 16 October 2021

We are delighted to confirm that our Mini Saints Sports Fest 2021 will take place this weekend (8 – 10 October). We kick off with Rugby, Football, Netball and Tennis on the Friday and Saturday, and progress to Hockey during the course of next week (11–16 October).

In November last year our 2021 Saints Sports Festival Committee committed to doing everything possible to give our students an opportunity to participate in a 2021 Sports Festival, while ensuring we place the safety of the participants first. We have been true to this and in keeping with our commitment to creating ‘Hope in Sport’, are proud to be going ahead with a scaled down version of the Festival with participation from Gauteng based Preparatory Schools, and Colleges.

We know that through sport, fitness, and health we can overcome some of the challenges we face. The spirit and competition experienced both on and off the fields and courts is as important as the friendships and camaraderie that the Saints Sports Festival enables for students and coaches alike. We are grateful to have received commitment from our headline sponsor, Standard Bank to bring this reimagined Sports Festival to life and thank them for their commitment to youth sport and to bringing hope to our participants, coaches and administrators.

We will be adhering to all Covid-19 health protocols according to the current Government Gazette and therefore unfortunately there will be no spectators. As an alternative all games will be streamed via SuperSport Schools. To access this, you will need to download the Supersports schools app. All the fixtures will be uploaded to this portal.
