Sekelbos is a bushveld hardwood - hardwood is dense and burns hotter and longer than softwoods. The density and low moisture content of Sekelbos makes it ideal firewood providing long-lasting hot coals and minimal smoke.
Our wood is harvested in the Limpopo Province, in a sustainable environmentally friendly manner, as part of a bush clearing program. Sekelbos is an invasive species and if left unmanaged encroaches on other bushveld flora.
