SA U19 Cricket - Boys' College Fantastic Four

SA U19 CRICKET – BOYS’ COLLEGE FANTASTIC FOUR

A truly remarkable achievement for the Boys’ College as history is made with four of our cricketers being selected for the South African U19 cricket team. Kwena Maphaka, Richard Seletswane, Lhuan-dre Pretorius, and Thebe Gazide have all been selected to represent South Africa to compete against Bangladesh from 3 - 18 July in five 50-over clashes. The announcement follows a four-day selection camp that was held at the Centre of Excellence in Pretoria.

It is also quite incredible that a week after Kwena Maphaka won the Aitken Trophy as an integral member of our first hockey team, for the first time in 48 years, he has once again earned the right and privilege to represent the South African National U19 cricket team.

Massive congratulations to these talented and hard-working players and the people that have coached, supported, and mentored them along their journey to enable this special moment in their fledgling careers. As a School, we are beyond proud of you and wish you all quality preparation for a successful tour.
