Girls' College Tennis Achievements

Our top 8 juniors played in the recent junior inter high tournament. We entered 2 teams of 4 players and competed against 25 other teams from across Johannesburg. Our A team Jess Assenmacher, Caitlin Klaassen, Vicky Parrymore and Bianca Wessels came 2nd, after having won every one of their pool matches 7-0. Our B team Toni Panzera, Lauren Parlabean, Anne Firth and Sian Wilson ended 11th overall and managed to beat many other schools' A teams.

This success was preceded by our team coming 3rd in the Eunice Tennis Festival. 7 girls Tayla van Eck, Jess Assenmacher, Caitlin Klaassen, Vicky Parrymore, Bianca Wessels, Lauren Parlabean and Beck Millard represented Saints in this u18 tournament our oldest player is in Grade 10 and recorded victories against Craddock, Pearson and the Free State Invitational Team. Jess Assenmacher won all her singles matches without dropping a set.
