Water Polo Gold Medals at the Old Mutual Cup

February 17, 2016 | Girls’ College

St Stithians Girls’ College make history in the pool by winning the Old Mutual Trophy at the Roedean Festival.  The St Stithians Girls’ team proudly won a cheque for R30 000 from Old Mutual for their Swimming Development programme – Hearts of Hope.  After a nail-biting Semi-Final against Crawford Lonehill that resulted in a penalty shootout the girls then played Roedean School in the final and won 8-4 in a beautiful display of team work under the direction of their coach and SA Men’s Captain Mr Pierre le Roux.
