Central Gauteng Top Schools Squash Winners

It is with pride that St Stithians girls squash announce their victory at the Central Gauteng Top Schools Squash Tournament. As in past years,  teams are invited to play in this prestigious tournament.The St Stithian’s team of 6 players battled it out, playing  St Marys, Roedean and Northcliff.  Some inspiring and excellent squash was played by all the girls.

St Stithian’s can be proud of the girls who played, most of them having developed their games  with their coach Cindy Purchase,  who has nurtured and motivated them since Grade 4.Never before has the school won this tournament, and this year presented the best possible chance, which all the girls embraced.This was a very proud moment indeed. They will now go to the regional Top Schools Tournament in Pietermaritzburg from 30 July – 1 August .

The result were St Stithian’s 1st, St Mary’s 2nd, Roedean 3rd and Northcliff 4th.
