Mother's Day Pampering

On Sunday 10 May we celebrated Mother’s Day. We are going through interesting times with the Corona Virus pandemic but celebrating this special day, brought us all together. Celebrations this year have had to be creative because it’s no longer possible to make restaurant bookings for lunch or do last minute shopping for a gift. It was with this in mind that we tasked the Junior Prep children to pamper their mom or the special lady in their life, either by doing their make-up or painting their nails. The boys and girls rose to the challenge and were so creative. Some converted a section of their homes into spas and salons, waiting for their most special guest - mom! The make-up kits and nail polish colours were laid out and all the guest of honour had to do was relax and enjoy being pampered. After the children had worked their magic, they revealed their works of art.  The moms and special ladies were pleasantly surprised.
