2019 DHS U16 Water Polo Tournament

The U16 Water Polo team took part in the Durban High School U16 National Water Polo Tournament at the end of September. After overcoming St David’s in the semi-finals, they faced local rivals St John’s College who overcame Selborne in their semi in the finals. Our U16s clinched the trophy with a 12-3 win in the final.

Pool Stages:

Vs St Benedict’s College drew 6-6

Vs Northwood won 12-2

Vs Westville won 7-4

Knockout stage:

QF vs Westville won 7-3

SF vs St David’s Marist Inanda won 5-4

Final vs St John’s College won 12-3

Brandon Delport was awarded the Best Attacker of the Tournament.

Luca Imbriolo was awarded the Best Defender of the Tournament.

Luca Imbriolo, Brandon Delport and Kyle Cohead made the Tournament Team.
