Opening of the Junior Prep Gateway Cycad Garden

Saints Remembrance Day dawned on a glorious sunny African morning.  Before the Remembrance Day Chapel Service, Carel Nolte Snr officially unveiled the cycad garden that adorns the Junior Prep Gateway.

Invited guests included the Nolte family and friends, school dignitaries and Junior Prep children. Carel Nolte Jnr, St Stithians Chair of Council, made a speech in remembrance of his mother, Elsa.  Dr Tim Nuttall thanked the family for their dedication to the College and their generous donation.

Mr Nolte said “The garden will always be a legacy”. We thank you for this amazing gift.
