Welcome One & All

The children at St Stithians Junior Prep arrived full of smiles and excitement on the first day of school on 11 January. Parents walked their children to class and you could see some chatting and stopping to admire their surroundings. Children in the older grades were excited to see their friends when they walked through the gates to their classes. Their happiness couldn’t be contained as they paused to catch up quickly – seizing the opportunities while parents exchanged pleasantries.

The children in Grade RR and Grade R were thrilled to be walking to their classrooms, wearing their new uniform while proudly carrying their school bags.

When the children arrived at their new classrooms, they were greeted by their teacher’s warm and friendly smile. They were shown where they would be sitting and encouraged to look for their locker or hook where their bags would stay. Upon finding their name or photo, the children, along with their parents, took the opportunity to look around the classroom and engage with all the different spaces and equipment.

It was a fantastic start to the year and we look forward to a happy 2023 with all our families in the Junior Prep.
