Girls' Prep - 'This Girl is on Fire'

The Girls’ Prep was ‘ablaze’ on the 11 January 2023. Fire dancers, banners, balloons, bubbles and music welcomed our special Girls’ Prep girls of 2023.

As a new tradition, Girls’ Prep selects a theme for the year, that is carried from the staff through to the girls and their parents, in everything we do. The theme, along with a song and much anticipated dance is chosen to resonate with our special school and synergize with our philosophy – Our Hearts see your Hearts.

‘Girl on Fire’ is about new beginnings, new perspectives, and fresh starts. It’s about finding your own inner strength and channeling it in a way you’ve never tried before. To be ‘on fire’ is to allow yourself the freedom to take full control of who you are and how you want to live your life. To live your passion and shine your light unabashedly. It’s that moment you choose to claim your power and be extraordinary.

Our girls have incorporated ‘I’m a girl on fire’ into their greeting and they are proud of the association that ‘Girl on Fire’ has within our school.
