Exercise track

The establishment and development of an exercise track at St Stithians College is an initiative of the Foundation. The objective of this project is to promote a healthy lifestyle by providing Saints learners, staff and parents, as well as residents of the broader Saints community, with a safe facility to exercise on our beautiful College campus. The College is blessed with magnificent natural surrounds, featuring diverse plant and bird life, and it is hoped that the track will afford the opportunity for as many people as possible to benefit.

The Saints Exercise Track was officially opened by the Chairman of Council (Mr Carel Nolte) on Founders’ Day (8 June 2013). Two watering points have been installed for users of the exercise track.

The track is 3.92km long and the route takes one on a loop of the entire school campus. Funds have been donated by the Foundation for the planting of indigenous trees. The track provides safe road crossing areas and distance indicators for serious athletes.
