Loans: |
All fiction and
non-fiction books are available for loan to students & teachers for 14
days, renewable. Reference and short loan books may be borrowed
overnight. Videos & DVDs may be borrowed by teachers only for a
maximum of 5 days. Students may use videos and DVDs within the
Resource Centre. |

Materials: |
The Resource
Centre has fiction, non-fiction and reference books, videos, DVDs,
newspapers, newspaper cuttings (NCs), general interest magazines and
curriculum-based magazines all indexed on the OPAC. |
|
Equipment: |
The Resource
Centre is equipped with 28 XP PCs all connected to the Internet and a
black-&-white printer. A colour printer and scanner are available
in the Computer Lab downstairs. A photocopier is also available in
the foyer and copier cards can be obtained form the Bursar's
Office.
A video camera
and film editing equipment are also available to Film Club members and
others that have been trained in their use. A DSTV connection is
also provided. |

The Resource
Centre provides support to teachers and students alike for all
curriculum needs: learning design, scaffolds, resources (electronic and
other formats) and bibliographic referencing as well as links to
national and international databases. |
