Young Leaders' Conference

The South African Institute for International Affairs hosts an annual Young Leaders’ Conference which brings school students from around the country together to debate current issues. The focus of the conference is very much on finding solutions to current issues in society, and giving the youth a real voice in the running of the country. The conference takes place at Wits University from 27 – 30 June. This year, the attendees will be working on drafting suggestions for the improvement of local, provincial and national government structures. Their memorandum will be handed personally to His Excellency, President JG Zuma at the Union Buildings.

We are proud to announce that two of our students, Janai Mintah and Gabriella Fedetto, have been selected to participate in this exciting event. It is a chance for them to practise real servant leadership, and an outstanding opportunity. We wish them both the best of luck.
