Thandulwazi Academic Scholarship (for Grade 10 2017)

In partnership with the Thandulwazi Trust and Galactic Unite Nash, the College is delighted to offer an academic scholarship commencing in Grade 10 (2017) for a deserving, academically strong, historically disadvantaged South African student in financial need.

  • This scholarship is open to both boys and girls, currently in Grade 9.
  • All applicants must apply to write the scholarship examination and submit the documents required by no later than 17:00 on Wednesday, 31 August 2016.
  • Successful applicants will be invited to write the scholarship examination at St Stithians College on Saturday, 10 September 2016. Further details will be provided.
  • The examination will assess mathematical reasoning, scientific skills, and English language skills.
  • Application forms are available here or may be collected from the Reception at St Stithians Girls’ College (between 08:00-13:00).

Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed and their custodians will need to provide a declaration of financial status. The College and Thandulwazi Trust reserve the right not to award the scholarship if a suitable candidate is not found.
