The girls were recognised and awarded Gold medals at the club’s Annual AGM (LDYC, Vaal dam) for their achievements and contribution towards the club’s Youth Development programme and camps.

CAMRYN’s Offshore Skipper Ticket

In April Camryn spent a hard 11 days onboard a 50 foot yacht off the coast of Natal and studied to obtain her South Africa Offshore Skippers ticket, which allows her to skipper offshore along the coast of South Africa. She also obtained her ICC (International Certificate of Competence) which qualifies her to skipper a yacht in Europe or the Mediteranean. Exciting times ahead!
