Our motto of inspiring excellence and making a world of difference continues to encourage us to improve and celebrate our wonderful school. Saints continues to go from strength to strength and we are encouraged by the dedication of our staff, parents, and alumni who ensure that we continue educating thinkers, leaders, and citizens for today and tomorrow.

Each year we raise funds to provide scholarships and to improve teaching spaces and sports facilities to enhance learning. The St Stithians community continues to give generously and we are eternally grateful to all of you.

Barry Fergusson, (Boys' College Class of 1970), has generously offered an exciting cycle experience taking place in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. This wonderful experience will be auctioned by St Stithians as part of our fundraising initiatives.

The prize includes the following:

$ 175 Entry (for 1) to Ryder Hesjedal's Tour de Victoria on 21 August 2016
$ 300 Luxury accommodation for 2 people for 4 nights
$ 100 Pick up and drop off from the airport or station
$ 300 Use of a compact vehicle for 4 days including petrol
$ 25 Breakfast for 2 days
$ 200 Transport and ferry fare for 2 to the ride in Victoria BC (return)
NOT INCL Accommodation in Victoria for 2 nights not included
$ 100 Champagne and sushi dinner on arrival
$ 25 Biltong and droewors survival pack
$ 75 Mountain bike experience on the famous North Shore trails
$ 50 Spouse/Partner shopping experience on Robson Street and Granville Island
$ 1,350 South African Rand equivalent is R 15, 966 (on 13 June 2016)

Please note:  Flights to Canada and visas are not included in this prize.

Bidding process and rules:

  1. Register your bid via email to Saints@stithian.com to enter the bidding contest. 
  2. Bids must be entered in South African Rands (ZAR) 
  3. Funds raised by the auction will be donated to the Thandulwazi Trust, The Class of 1970 Bursary Fund and the Three Pavilions Campaign.
  4. Bids close at Midnight on Sunday July 3rd.
  5. Bids will be evaluated by the Bursar on 4 July 2016 and the winner will be announced and contacted. 
  6. The highest bidder wins but pays the price of the second highest bid. 
  7. St Stithians decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  8. The prize will be handed over when the winning bid is paid into the St Stithians Bank Account, detailed below.
  9. Payments may be made via PayGate on our Giving page.
