Minister Naledi Pandor in dialogue with St Stithians College Parents

October 03, 2018 | Campus | Author: Adrienne Watson, Girls' Prep

Being true to our Saints Character means we take action to engage all stakeholders in our community. We are honoured to host a breakfast dialogue during which Minister Naledi Pandor will open conversation exploring the need for responsiveness in education and across social systems. STEAM education and 21st Century skills as drivers of educational innovation, agility, and equity will be addressed.  To take the conversation forward in an interactive exchange with our parents, and guests, we have invited Harvard University’s Center for African Studies’ Obenewa Amponsah, and diversity and inclusion specialist, Roy Gluckman, to facilitate a robust discussion focused on progressing our country. The role of the private school parent ecosystem will be a key feature of the discussion.

We would like to open this event beyond the Saints parent community to include members of the public. Join us for this high level conversation over breakfast on 15 October and make your contribution to inspiring excellence and making a world of difference.
