Heritage week,

October 12, 2017 | Boys’ Preparatory | Author: Mrs J thompson

During Heritage week, each Grade visited a National Heritage site to create awareness of our rich and diverse cultures. We used the  Heritage theme as a vehicle for several class academic experiences. The boys were exposed to a “Transdisciplinary” module. It has been inspiring to witness the effort and energy that has gone into our Heritage Day Roadshow, culminating in what was a truly South African celebration. Our interactions and contributions showcased the beauty of St Stithians Boys’ Preparatory and everything that is right and good in our country. The various grades produced some great food, informative work and diverse cultural activities, sharing the various cultures that make us such a special school and unique country. We were also very pleased to welcome the Dukes, who opened our Heritage celebrations on Friday the 29 September.
