Grade R Sports Day

It was with a buzz of excitement that the Grade R children arrived on the Prep Field to take part in their first Sports Day. Parents, grandparents and siblings arrived in abundance to support our budding athletes.

The Grade R children competed in 7 events. The emphasis was on maximum participation with lots of fun, in a non-competitive environment.

All our children were winners and thoroughly enjoyed taking part in the various events, including relay races, long jump, hurdles and an obstacle course.

The highlight of the morning, however, was the parents, grandparents, siblings and teachers races, … with lots of cheering from the excited children.
