Grade 1 Campout

With great excitement our Grade 1 children and their dads set up camp in the Junior Prep playground. Tents were erected, mattresses were pumped up and sleeping bags were set out.

This was followed by the children singing songs for their dads and dads’ braaing dinner for their children.

The children then ran off to play with their friends, while the dads enjoyed some male bonding time. Late in the evening all snuggled up in their tents for a good night’s sleep.

Early the next morning, after coffee and rusks, tent were packed up and the children were delivered back to their moms.

This special time for our Grade 1s with their dads will always be remembered.
