A Busy Term

August 02, 2016 | Junior Preparatory

The Grade R children entertained their grandparents and other special people in their lives with poems and songs in their classrooms. The grannies and grandpas loved their gifts made by the children and enjoyed socialising over tea and treats.

The grade 1s enjoyed their winter story telling evening. They came dressed in their pyjamas and onesies and snuggled up in their classrooms with hot chocolate as their teachers read them stories.

They also celebrated 100 days in Grade 1 with a picnic at the dam.

The Grade 2 children held a Fashion & Talent Show in the Dace Hall. They designed their own T-shirts and choreographed their own moves. We have so much talent with ballerinas, comedians and musicians.

The staff distributed the blankets, collected for Mandela Day, to people in need.

With great excitement we streamed into safariLIVE where the children went on an interactive game drive. Their questions were answered live on TV. This is part of our initiative to integrate IT in the classroom.

We are all looking forward to a well-deserved holiday.
